Course Description
This course provides the participant with an understanding of bruxism as a primary sleep disorder, as well as an anomaly during waking hours. The course discusses etiology from mechanical, psychological, and lifestyle perspectives. The participant will learn about the recognition of the disease from waking and sleeping perspectives and become aware of the therapies as well as lifestyle changes that will minimize symptoms.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The overall objective of this course is to provide the participant with an understanding of bruxism as a sleep and waking disorder. The participant will learn how to identify and treat the disease.
